The incidence of breast cancer increases significantly in women over 50 years and above. But according to the National Health Survey in 2007 about 59 percent of women aged 50 to 69 have not gone for mammogram in the previous two years. This is very unfortunate considering that early detection of breast cancer through regular mammogram could potentially save many lives.

Women should be encouraged to go for regular health screening which should include a mammogram every two years.

Make well being the top priorities in your life. Don’t be too busy with other things and neglect your health. Without health, nothing else really matter.
